# Compare neighbourhoods and homes

Compare Rotterdam neighbourhoods and home types by travel time, monthly cost, condition and future use.

## Choose your criteria

Write down what matters to you: travel time, monthly cost, outdoor space, maintenance, home size and distance to work or school. This gives each neighbourhood and home the same starting point.

## Compare in the same order

Start with the neighbourhood, then check the home type, condition, VvE or leasehold details and expected monthly cost. Record what you know and what still needs an answer.

## Apartment or house

For an apartment, include VvE papers and planned work in your assessment. For a house, check the roof, facade, systems and maintenance plan. A viewing often reveals questions that an advert leaves open.
